Deaf U of A Swimmer to go to Olympic Trials

The Arizona Daily Star reports Marcus Titus isn't like any of the other 39 University of Arizona swimmers preparing for next week's Olympic Trials. He has an interpreter but he doesn't see himself as a deaf swimmer, just a passionate man with goals like every other elite swimmer in the world.

WOW! What a great mentor for us all. I will be expecting to see Marcus compete in 2012. You can do it! I can't wait.. he will blow us all away. I am not the greatest mentor for my daughter who is deaf... I am proud to see others like her follow thier dreams and strive for it.
