hey, everyone! stop it! myself, im profoundly deaf and who used power deaf culture and believed to use asl as our primary language. we are deaf family, too. i got ci implanted by ab, too. they are truly loyal wonderful company. ci provide 3 different co. ab is only ci maker in usa. lets go usa. back to subject, i cant hear my ha at all, not even digital ha. they failed my hearing level. what do i do next ? force me to get ci. guess what. i loved it! i can play sports except fight boxing. of course they are truly dangerous sports. anyway, my deaf son also used ci before me. i learned it a lot from him. he really succeed so much and still whip my ass cuz he used to it. anyway, my wife still use ha and i dont recommed her to get ci cuz she wore ha all of her life since she was 2. not me. ci for adult are very difficult to use. ci and ha are so difference. not recommed for every older adult unless they wish to continue hearing. what's more! they are no longer infect menegits anymore. i got shot prevent from it. i must have once shot every 5 years. not a plm. in fact, i hear 25 times better than ha. i really am so happy with it. it caused my speaking voice stay stable, not high, not low. perfect stable. i got another deaf daughter. she is 15 months old. we are not sure if we may implant her cuz she responsed her hearing level with ha very well. we respected her but not my son. he failed with ha like me. son like father. lol. sigh. im sorry to say that. nsn is full of bs! thank you.

HELLOI WONDER THAT BIONICS MANUFACTURE WILL CLOSE OR GOING OUT TO BUSINESS. I JUST CURIOUS THAT I WANT TO KNOW THAT IS ALL. I KNOW DEAF CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THEIR EMOTIONS AND FRUSTRATION. CHILDREN WITH CI THAT CANT PLAY SPORTS, IT S DANGEROUS FOR CI AND CAN CAUSE INJURIES. THERE ARE HEALTH PROBLEMS WITH CI'S ALSO. SOME PEOPLE HAVE DIED FROM SICKNESSES DUE TO COCHLEAR IMPLANTS. SOME ILLINESSES ARE: LIVER PROBLEMS, POISON WITH YELLOW SKIN, SEIZERES, NERVE PROBLEMS, TUMOR BRIAN AND MANY OTHERS. PARENTS HAVE PROBLEM TO PAY FOR THE MEDICAL BILLS. THE MEDICAL BILLS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE BUT NOT AS CHEAP AS BEFORE. I WONT WANT TO SEE CHILDREN OR ADULTS WHO HAVE SUFFER LIKE THAT. I WILL BE SORRY FOR YOU. I OPPOSE WITH COCHLEAR IMPLANTS. IT NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!!! I FEEL SO UPSET FOR THEM. I HEARD ABOUT COCHLEAR IMPLANTS PATIENTS WHO HAVE HAD EAR INFECTIONS AND HEADACHES. THEY HAVE COLD SO THEY HAVE TO GO THE DOCTOR OR HOSPITAL. THEY GIVE YOU AN IV AND MEDICINE TO HELP WITH PAIN. EIGHTY PERCENTS CHILDREN AND ADULTS HAVE DIED FROM CI. PLEASE TELL AGBELL HAVE TO STOP ABOUT CI PROGRAM AND REMOVE IT RIGHT NOW.. I have a Cochlea Implant when I was 7 years old. My mom and I not know about cochlea implant. But my mom found out about cochlea implant from the doctor who surgery put to human cochlea. The doctor suggested to us why not put use Cochlea Implant for would help hear better and speak very well. But it is not help for me because my speech is very not well like not perfect. I do not like very big noise make me very often headaches. Cochlea Implant make me always very stress, headaches, confuse, fed up a lots, and everything. My mom still force me must use Cochlea Implant but I hate it! I try to understand listen to hear in the world but too much noisy for me. If my future deaf children I wont give them for Cochlea Implant. I want make happy my future children. I really very cherish my future children. I feel bad of many deaf babies had cochlear implant and I look at them. That made me very sad. My friend had cochlear implant because already my friend died from infection. I wish remove metal machine something in my head. I do not like that someone put technology my body that is my own body!

Finally they had to wake up themselves with kids should wait until teenager. They haven't test on sport activities while instution (Deaf School) as sweating from the body can caused electric shock. There is alot of headache in their studies. After the surgereon suggest the kids like pre-school to elemetary school some freak accident on the head part can be caused more injury inside of the head. So shouldn't make CI for now until more technican working on that to avoid surgery as normal deaf children as usually as daily basis... For my opinion is against that CI. Since I work at hospital for years see kids that have been freak accident without their control. Hopefully they better off with CI permanently. hopefully the parents should start understanding with kids need enjoy sound not like normal sound exactly normal hearing. Thank you...
