This is all about making money! FCC need to get on the bandwagon and help out the deaf community. What happened to equal rights for all? I myself as a deaf parent depend on email,IM AND text for communicating between my family, relives, friends and with my job! Verizon,AT

Just wish that wireless companies put the anti-spam program in their servers before we get the text messages. How can we explain to our young kids about the sexual or pharmacy messages? So many deaf people can't tell the difference between serious company messages and spammer's messages. That's what I am very concerned.

This has nothing to do with blocking deaf people from txting. It has to do with companies SPAMING people's phones and pagers. If you start getting spam txt from porn sites you will be complaining to the company about being charged for those txts. It is ridiculous to try and make it out that the companies don't care about the deaf and it's all about money.
