Unemployment Rates In The Deaf Community
Welcome to the first of our four part series on Deaf unemployment. In the United States, the unemployment rate averages between 4-6%, but in the Deaf Community the numbers are exceedingly higher.

If Fed approvedfor restore Deaf department (Friends/Family life and Career) authorized. This we will offer $200,000,000 Fed or Washington DC grants for support limited 5000 deaf citizen (db 70 of deaf or early deaf age 8) but then we will remove SSI, SSA, and HUD.. because we don't want nothing do than we do career work and trust friends and family life.---We will wanted hiring profession English,Leader Deaf community skill, career/training education, interrupter ASL, counselor, and worker Fed grants program and Bank account..---see about web:http://www.grants.gov/aboutgrants/about_grants_gov.jsp ..Deaf are terrble higher unemployment about 30%-70% this hearing 10 times more than Deaf (dB 70 or worst and early deaf age 8)

Aug 12, 2008: 10:49 AMwow , that is true lot of boss not get hire deaf worker, reason need understand both side and talk fast or some boss have bad exp with deaf worker myself is own business and i love it . I hire deaf work is not work out and hire hear guy is good worker i have one deaf worker with me is good ( lucky)
